Review of Roller Girl and Click, Clack, Moo

ROLLER GIRL REVIEW: Graphic Novel by Victoria Jamieson
Once, there was a roller-girl. Her name was Astrid and she wanted to become a roller-girl because she was inspired by a person called Rainbow-Bite. Rainbow-Bite was the best roller woman for Astrid because she always had grit. Astrid’s friend Nicole from first grade was going to ballet but she lied to Astrid that she was going to come with her to skate camp. When Astrid learnt of this, she felt ditched by her friend. She went without her. In the skate camp, she made a new friend called Zoey, but there was a misunderstanding between them for a while and they didn’t talk. At last, they started talking. When they started talking, Astrid felt better and she started practicing properly. At the finals, with Astrid and Zoey’s help, the team won.

Firstly, I liked the book because it is a comic. Secondly, I like Astrid’s grit. Even if she bumped or fell down, she got up and started again. Lastly, I like how she makes friends e.g. I liked when Nicole helped Astrid when Rachel said that Astrid might get rabies.

Once there lived cows that typed. The cows belonged to Farmer Brown. Farmer Brown couldn’t believe his ears when he heard that his cows type. Then one day, he saw a letter saying that the cows and hens wanted some blankets. But he didn’t give them the blankets. The cows and hens stopped giving milk and eggs. Farmer Brown the cows and hens agreed that the cows will give their typewriter for the blankets.So he waited outside the barn for the typewriter but the cows didn’t give it. The next day Farmer Brown found a letter from the ducks saying we want a diving board.    
I liked the book because it is funny. Every animal says we will give the typewriter for something they want.
