Project Gutenberg founder, Michael S. Hart passed away!

Michael S. Hart, the founder of Project Gutenberg passed away in Illinois, US on Tuesday, 6th September 2011.

The man whose invention was electronic books and whose passion was free literacy for one and all is no more.

We at pustakam.net fondly remember him as a warm and friendly person in the one-off email interaction we had with him. For the work he has put in for a life time, he would surely be remembered for a long time to come.

May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to his near and dear.
