Mukkothikommachi Now Available in Audio

It is with great pleasure that we bring to you Mukothikommachi – Volume 3 of the audio version of Kothikommachi – Mullapudi and Bapu’s autobiography.

Before I go on to give you heads up on what to expect, I do want to apologize for delay in releasing the third volume: much has passed in the last year when life, which was seemingly limping back to a routine after Mullapudi’s departure, braked again when Bapu garu lost his wife, Smt. Bhagyavathi.

To give him respite from his grief and to include members of the Mullapudi-Satthiraju family, we took a departure from requesting Bapu-Ramana’s colleagues from the industry to narrate the autobiography. Instead you will hear the voices of Smt.Mullapudi Sridevi, Smt. Challapalli Bhanumathy (Bapu garu’s daughter) and the biggest surprise: Bapu garu himself.

Sri SPB once again features with his golden voice, and the other familiar voice is Vara Mullapudi.

We sincerely hope you will enjoy this third and the last volume of the autobiography, and extend the same encouragement as you did for the other two volumes.

The surprise in this volume is not just the narrators: Bapu garu, who offered to read some chapters, also included audio bites of some of the songs referenced in context. He went back to his archives and dug out original recordings of the Ghazals sung by Sri P B Sreenivos and Sri SPB for the film ‘Gorantha Deepam’: and no that’s not all – he’s given his own commentary for the ghazals too.

We’ve done all we can to make up for the delay in releasing the third volume. We hope you will listen and enjoy the audio book, forgive any discrepancy and, of course pass the word around to your family and friends too. And help us beat piracy in the process.

We request your patience and understanding in a couple of issues: Bapu garu’s recording was done in-house, hence the audio quality.
Also, since there some song clippings, you may find that downloading these files may take time.
